For a small fee this museum has everything you would expect of an ex-RAF Airfield museum. I was pleasantly surprised with the number and mixture of aircraft on display and staff were friendly and helpful. With a documented history of the airfield and some very good diaramas and models you can easily spend a couple of hours here.

Worth a visit as plenty to see but not particulary child-friendly. Two recreated rooms, a hut of airmen waiting to "scramble" and a 1940s living room well done but photos just stuck on walls and captions too small to read.

3 hangers bursting with planes, parts of planes, air rescue helicopter etc. You can put your head inside planes which provides an immersive experience. For slickness it can't compete with the Imperial War Museum, however for the range and amount of aircraft paraphernalia it beats it hands down. We will go again in the summer months as today it was... More

Had planned to visit the Hurricane and Spitfire Museum but this was closed over the Xmas holidays but lucky for us this museum was open. Our son loved walking around with the up close views of the displays, especially the out door exhibits. Small entry fee but well worth the price.

This museum shares a site with The Hurricane and Spitfire Museum. We thought the Hurricane museum would be more interesting so visited there first in case we ran out of steam but in fact there is plenty in here to see and enjoy. Whilst the Hurricane museum is free and relies on donations, there is an entry fee for this... More

Arranged to hand over a tin of 100 negatives of photos taken by my late father in Rhodesia ww2 Raf Air training cmd. This was my first visit here but had been several times to the memorial museum adjacent on same site.. Very impressive and a lot of hard work put in by volunteers. Wonderful display of many old aircraft,... More

This RAF museum is a real delight tucked away up at Thanet. Took my grandson and we enjoyed this so much. Lots to see. If you like planes go and check it out. Small cafe on site as well.

As I'm doing a history project in my English lessons at school,I thought that this attraction might be worth a visit. The admission was great value for money and there is plenty of air-crafts to see and inspire you. This attraction is split into two halls and there is a shop that sells greeting cards/retro style postcards,Airfix kits and models... More
