We live near the park and have visited it many times with our of town friends. Since there is just a $5 fee for entry it is perfect for coming just to use the beautiful grounds for a picnic or a walk. If you have rowdy boys take them to the tank park. Here they can climb on the tanks... More

It's hard to imagine the wealth that would allow one man to develop the estate that is Cantigny Park. It is beautiful, and the house, gardens, and museum are well worth the price of admission.

In September Cantigny has a Car Show I would recommend to anyone. This is a fine show in the area. Plenty of cars of variety . DJ music. Nice time to walk and enjoy the great outdoors. Autumn is good also to wonder off and take in the beauty of the surrounding park! Winfield , Il.. I used to take... More

We have come here with our children and now, grandchildren, for years. They insist on climbing every tank on every visit. They also find the museum fascinating and so do we. You experience the "you are there" phenomenon for every war since WW1. The gardens are also beautiful and the tour of the McCormick Mansion is entertaining and informative. Plan... More

Cantigny is one of our favorite parks with acres of beautiful gardens, the McCormick Mansion, the extraordinary Big Red One First Division US Army Military Museum, and dozens of tanks and vehicles you can climb. All of this only costs $10 a carload! We love the manicured park and gardens and the wide variety of flowers and trees. (See photos.)... More

I had played the golf course but never had visited the park. What a wonderful surprise. The McCormick Mansion tour was very interesting. The military tanks and wartime exhibits were well done and informative. The gardens and park were lovely and there was a band concert. We spent over four hours there without even trying. We had a great day!!

This is must see in the Western Suburbs. The gardens are beautiful and relaxing. The tanks are fun for the family and the restaurant is a nice place to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the view of the flowers.

This museum, historic home and extensive gardens have something for everyone (even picnic and playground equipment for the little ones). We visited in early November and the rose garden still had plenty of blossoms. The foliage and landscaped gardens are beautifully tended. The property (even historic home on first level) is wheel chair accessible. Knowledgeable docents guide the free tours... More

Cantigny is beautiful and a popular spot for photoshoots. There is a $5 parking fee for cars, higher fees for other types of vehicles. There are many different types of wildlife found around the park from squirrels and birds to skunks and wild turkeys. The trees look beautiful in the autumn, and not all flowers are past their prime. Great... More
