We visited Tasmania Zoo yesterday and were really impressed.. all the animals looked to be perfectly cared for, and a vast array of animals.. especially for a non government zoo. The talking Cockatoo's were hilarious! Jurassic swamp was so unexpected and amazing! So much work...More

Living in Launceston, I wasn't aware how great this facility is. We visited with two grandchildren and were most impressed with the whole experience. Well worth a visit.

Great place to visit. So many animals to see: lions, wombats, meerkat, penguins, primates, birds to name a few. Takes at least 2 hours to get round the park.

I have been to every zoo in every city I have travelled (many) and Tasmania zoo was clean, friendly and relaxed. There were plenty of animal encounters to choose from with very reasonable prices. Really enjoyed our visit to this zoo.
