Our docent, Carole, gave a warm and wonderful introduction to a great variety of buildings in the center city area and the northern city area. She provided plenty of side anecdotes that provided a glimpse of the human side of architecture, both in its design and execution. The fact that we were able to enter a number of the buildings,... We went on the tour of the various buildings in town that had significance in design. We first watched a video that explained how the quest to make Columbus special led to great community design and planning by using the best architects that were available. The variety in the designs and the fact that the city goes out of its... More

Amazing pretty well sums up everything about our tour. The house was amazing, as was the landscaping, the interior design, and the wealth of information our guide shared. We're already planning to return for another tour in the spring when the tulips are in bloom.

Quick but very informative introduction to the remarkable assemblage of contemporary architecture in Columbus, the legacy of a visionary industrialist with a deep commitment to improving the quality of life for his community.

They had us at 'Hello.' On a cold wet Saturday we arrived at 8:50 am. The shop/visitor center opened at 9. Surprisingly, the door opened and Lisa welcomed us in. The rest of our visit we experienced this kind of kindness, professionalism and warmth. Our tour was of The Miller House. First a film then a short shuttle ride to... More

We scheduled the 10 am architecture tour and enjoyed the gift shop and introduction film before boarding the bus. The guide was great at giving as much nformation as possible as we were driven by the various buildings besides a short walk right next to the visitor center. We would highly recommend this to anyone. We also did the Miller... More

Fascinating tale of a man with a vision for his company and his community. We'll be back to take the Miller House tour on another visit.
