My wife and I toured Angel Mounds on a wet and warm day. The museum was full of dioramas but had no film clip or slide show. We were the only people there until a troop of children with chaperones arrived. They had a small exhibit we enjoyed by artists who had recovered from mental illness. Then we went outdoors.... More

Angel Mounds is a historical Indian village site. You can take tours of the mounds built by native Indians who lived at the site near the Ohio River. A souvenir shop is available along with displays of Indian artifacts. This site is a source of many school field trips as well as tourist visits. It is an interesting trip or... More

We visited on a rainy day and the trails were too muddy to walk but we did walk out to the end of the concrete walk and could view a few things. Inside is a very nice museum and the preteens and teenager enjoyed more than I thought they would. They especially enjoyed the gift shop with lots of interesting... More

My wife and I visited the site in early April. Our Mazda's nav took us to the Pollack Ave address, but brought us in such a way that we didn't notice the site building sitting back several hundred feet from the road. We figured out our mistake and arrived soon enough. Your results may vary! IMHO the historic site is... More

We enjoyed our visit to Angel Mounds. We have visited Serpent Mound in Ohio and Cahokia Mounds in IL. The exhibit s at Angel Mounds were of very good quality. The area was well maintained and we'll marked. It was a cold day, but we enjoyed the mounds themselves. It was an enjoyable and educational experience.

This is such a fantastic way to really see Native American culture and understand how they lived in this area. The museum is a bit old now, but it still is very interesting and has lots of fun and intriguing information about all aspects of Native American life. The outdoor area is absolutely beautiful in the spring time, and has... More
