I love history, museum was educational, the mounds were fascinating. Just imaging life at that time, visioning the people living life around the mounds. Awesome. Gift shop was great too!

Unfortunately, the mounds were flooded when we were there, but the museum was very well done and interesting. When you go, please donate. They are in need of renovations.

Nominal cost to see the kid friendly museum display artifacts and presumptive life of pre-columbian Native Americans in this area and the mounds they built. Very interesting they built a fortress wall. Nicely done without too many false stereotypes. The mounds are not remarkable alone,...More

Unusual historical facts laid in an interesting way. The interpretation centre has a very naive but effective display of dioramas and lots to read and see. I missed seeing the figurine (a display about it shows a priesty guy instead). You can walk the mounds,...More

I grew up in Evansville, but had never been to Angel Mounds. It was a beautiful day outside to walk around, and we enjoyed the museum inside, but here are some tips. The paths to the mounds are grass, and in the morning it's wet...More

Cool place to check out. Left on your own for the trails, but you can go at your own pace. Gift shop was nice, not too pricy.
