This place does a lot for the community. Christmas was so much fun for the kids. Looking for something to do in Hammond, they got it.

This center is a hub for local artists displays, indiana info and in the winter, the CHRISTMAS STORY is a full blown town with characters and interactive things for the kids.

The Indiana Welcome Center is architecturally interesting...the outside of the building represents the different segments of Indiana from farm land, to steel industry to Lake Michigan. There is a good gift shop and many flyers and brochures of nearby places to visit and as well...More

When you walk into the foreign it's simple beautiful! the security even greets everyone with a smile, and wishes everyone to have a good time to enjoy themselves I have watch this over and over again very professional!.

Super clean facilities! Pleasant employees! Lovely art exhibit of a local artist who works with reclaimed metal from factories. And, a nice shop with 'local' Indiana products. It was a great rest area experience on a hot day!
