Home to over 2,000 animals and Indiana's largest aquarium, this 64-acre zoo has lions, elephants and other wild animals roaming through natural settings. A special petting area allows children to touch, but not feed, the tamer animals. There's also the world's largest enclosed dolphin show and a roller-coaster for all ages to enjoy.

Attended a catered dinner in the dolphin gallery so we didn't walk through the whole zoo. What we did see was enjoyable and the area seemed clean and well kept. They offered an outdoor concert as well for the public that evening.

The zoo is nice. It is not huge, but has a lot to offer. The grounds are beautiful and very lush. The animals were easy to see and watch. Good variety of animals, birds, ocean life, etc.

Last minute impromptu trip to the zoo with my 9 year old. Plenty to do and fun for both the young and old!

Lots of animals to see. Only a few habitats are inconvientent for viewing. Splash pad for cooling down. Lights at Christmas and candy at Halloween. Fun to get a seasonal pass and go often, with friends.

If you visit the zoo be sure to check out the macaw show in the Bicentennial Pavilion. There are three flocks and two of them are housed near the back of the zoo. I recommend sitting on the backside of the pavilion, facing the zoo...More

This is a nice zoo that is relatively small compared to bigger zoos (Columbus, Cincinnati, etc.) but it is a nice walk to sight see with the family. The Dolphin show is a treat, so I do recommend going to see it (it's free). Overall,...More

The Zoo is fantastic. Its always very clean. They are constantly adding new exhibits and animals. Every time that we go, I see or experience something new.

We are passing through and had some time so we decided to check out the zoo. It seems you can tell a lot about a city by their zoo. We arrived late afternoon and were surprised at the number of patrons. The zoo was clean,...More

The above is correct. Only service dogs are allowed at the zoo. One of the main reasons is for the safety of the zoo animals.
