Home to over 2,000 animals and Indiana's largest aquarium, this 64-acre zoo has lions, elephants and other wild animals roaming through natural settings. A special petting area allows children to touch, but not feed, the tamer animals. There's also the world's largest enclosed dolphin show and a roller-coaster for all ages to enjoy.

Not too big, not too overwhelming, very interesting zoo, great oceans exhibit, touch pool, penguins and a polar bear. Fun rides! Pony rides, great dolphins show.

Wonderful zoo experience!! Easy to find, great parking, satisfying visit. The sea lions, dolphin show, and the orangutans were our favorite with many more quality attractions that we missed because of our short time frame. Will be coming back for sure!

This zoo was just simply amazing. I went with my wife and my parents and we had a blast! Since we went in late November, the ticket prices were cheaper and the animals were so active! Especially the lions and flamingoes and walruses! Wow!! Most of the exhibits were open too, so you really get a good bang for your... More

The zoo is small but packed with things for the kids. They loved watching the dolphins. They loved the sky "train". They loved the train. They loved the zoo. I would recommend the zoo for any anyone. Great place to spend with the kids.

This quite a good zoo for its size, certainly better than Chicagos zoo. The enclosures are a nice size and equipped well, all the animals seems happy and friendly. The penguins and meerkat are great characters, you can watch them for at least 30mins. The walruses are amazing and show just how intelligent some creatures can be.

The zoo was fun even though there was some construction going on. The dolphin exhibit was opened even though there were none there.

My grandchildren and I visited the Zoo this past Veterans Day. All the attractions were open except for "feeding the animals". We were thrilled that the Zoo was not busy on this cool day & had a 'front row' viewing for all the animals. We had lunch at the cafe & the kids were thrilled when the "Dipping Dots" stand... More

We were visiting Indy for a conference and had a day free so we went to the zoo. We are from Cincinnati and have a great zoo there so we didn't expect so many new experiences at the Indy zoo. We were pleasantly surprised! While Indy was a smaller zoo relative to Cincinnati, it was very nice. We especially loved... More

If you love to see Christmas Lights, this is the place to go. HOWEVER, it is a good idea to get there by 4:00 - 4:30. Enjoy the animals, then enjoy the the lights when it gets dark. If you wait much later than that, you may be sitting in a car line for hours. Once the zoo lot is... More
