Home to over 2,000 animals and Indiana's largest aquarium, this 64-acre zoo has lions, elephants and other wild animals roaming through natural settings. A special petting area allows children to touch, but not feed, the tamer animals. There's also the world's largest enclosed dolphin show and a roller-coaster for all ages to enjoy.

The animals have a lot of room to roam so you can see them doing what they would be doing naturally. Beautiful landscaped and planned well. Membership discount to other zoos included in this one.

We visited here with a group and enjoyed a behind the scenes tour. just before Halloween The highlight was visiting the orangutans and elephants. We also enjoyed the shark touch tank and the dolphin pavilion. This is a great venue.

The Imdianapolis Zoo is an excellent place to take the family, big or small. When all the attractions are in working order, it's such a great time!

Visited the Zoo to see the Christmas lights and it was amazing! When you see the sheer number of lights and consider time to install,it’s mind-boggling. Having said that, they are also beautiful. Worth the time to experience.

In town for work and we had to walk off a gluttonous dinner we had at St. Elmo Steakhouse. The zoo was a nice walk across the river from our hotel, the Courtyard Marriott Downtown. It was a quiet and peaceful walk there and once...More

This zoo really is a teaching zoo. They always explain whether by sign, video, in person how or why the animals are being handled and what is being done to improve the species. Always something new every time we go. Also the Christmas at the...More
