Very impressive facility to hold 75k attendees to GenCon and believe there are only half that many. Staff / security are the gem in their crown. Professional and courteous at the same time. Signage is only concern. Escalator ramps should be marked with rooms they...More

The Civic Center is huge and can accommodate practically any size group. It also has access to Lucas Oil Stadium.

The convention center is laid out very, very well! It is very easy to navigate and not confusing at all, which is surprising for it's size! The fact that it is in walking distance to many hotels and attractions is a plus too! It is...More

We most recently attended Indiana Black Expo. The convention center has plenty of space for exhibits, and it's convently located for all the downtown Indianapolis hotels.

All convention centers are huge and pretty impersonal. The Indiana Convention Center was better than most. It's huge but seemed to have more amenities than others. The center connects by skyway to a number of hotels, a nice feature. I would come back.

Recently spent 4 full days here for a convention. The facility is poorly laid out making maneuvering to different rooms difficult. Almost every room I was in had AV issues. There were virtually no places to get food which limited lunch options for the thousand...More

The JW Marriott is also connected via skywalks to the convention center. Hard to find a better connected convention center when it comes to hotels.

As stated: the Westin, the Hyatt, and the Crowne Plaza are all connected to the ICC via skywalk, but the JW Marriott is also. It is a double skywalk, with a passageway alongside a garage (you do not go into the garage).
