love, Love, LOVE this park. Looks like a good place for kids but we take the dogs on the extended trail system down by river. It's a good hour walk with a little of up and down action. Beautiful scenery even in the winter.

Various playgrounds set up for multiple age groups. Hiking paths well marked. Dogs on leashes welcome and another place to walk your dog if in Indy. A gem in the city

We love Holliday Park. It's a small gem with lots of trails, that are well maintained. An informative Nature Center, where you can watch birds and animals feed from a comfortable environment. The new and updated "ruins" are a distinct feature that were rehabbed with great attention.

We went to explore the many walking paths at Holliday Park on a nice winter day and took the dog along. The environment is beautiful and the playgrounds were impressive, even for our older kids.

This is a great park with a large playground, a Nature Center and hiking trails. A big problem however are the criminals in the parking lot. They watch cars as they park and if you leave anything valuable in the trunk (or passenger seat) - they will smash the window and steal what they can grab. Be very careful when... More

Spent an afternoon hiking and exploring. Lots to see. Trails are marked and run along the White River. Several deep valleys and beautiful trees.

We came to see the ruins and get photos of the fall colors. We spent the day climbing trees and hiking. They have beautiful hiking trails with lots of hills. I can't believe this place has been so close and we've never explored it! Stop in to the Nature Center and grab a copy of the trail map. They also... More

We came for the ruins which I'm sure is the main draw. Many people seem to bring their dogs and we did as well. The ruins are cool if you read the brochure. There are no plaques at the ruins themselves so if you are interested in where they all came from, I suggest looking the brochure up online or... More

This newly renovated city park has a surprising variety of features that make a visit worthwhile. The Holiday Park Ruins provide an ideal backdrop for photo shoots, complete with a fountain, a beautifully manicured garden, and sculptures of Indiana limestone that originally had graced the St. Paul building in NYC. The hiking trails are excellent, allowing visitors to lose themselves... More
