Very picturesque, nice to walk around and just enjoy nature at it's best. Takes your mind off the things.

Attempted to visit on MLK day as Zoo and parking were free. But alas, as with my previous visit the gardens were closed. The last time it was for removal of a lego display. This time it was for renovation. Whatever.

My latest visit was two days after Christmas. No more carollers, but there was still a Christmas theme, with a lot of beautifully placed poinsettias. There were lights, Christmas music and something like a treasure hunt for children. When I've been in January or February, there have been many flowers in the middle of winter. On a quiet morning, when... More

Just an absolutely beautiful and peaceful setting for a stroll, a book read or photo shoot. Love the arrangements and the beauty of this elegant and meticulously maintained landscape.

The White River Gardens are so beautifully kept - I would highly recommend a visit here if you are in downtown Indianapolis and wish to get away for a little relaxation. Always good to play a bit of Pokemon Go in as well!

We stopped here after visiting the zoo. This is the type of place where I wish I had a book with me so I can find some hidden nook and read. Very peaceful.

The gardens are a nice green space break from the concrete jungle! The outdoor portion is lovely. Enjoyed the Lego displays. Indoor garden is a quick visit but the outdoor garden winds around with new sections to be discovered!

This is definitely a place to visit. It is so pretty and peaceful. We went when they had the lego exhibits which were amazing. But even without them the gardens are gorgeous. We made it a part of our Indianapolis Zoo visit and were not disappointed. I also kept thinking, what a great place to get married...it I already wasn't.

Colorful, well planned out for minimal space. The "wedding" area is a perfect backdrop any bride should consider for her event. Lots of different areas, with tons of varieties of plantings. Very peaceful and relaxing.

The White River Gardens are adjacent to the Indianapolis zoo and included in the price. If you enjoy being outside and viewing plants, flowers, landscaping you'll love this visit.
