We always search out presidential homes on our road trips. The tour of this Harrison home was definitely worth the stop. We were in awe of our guide, Jan. She was probably the most knowledgeable guide we have ever had in a presidential home. Don't hesitate to stop by this home when traveling through Indianapolis.

The tour of the house was made especially interesting by the tour guide, who was very knowledgeable of the house and the former president. The house was a look into life at that time.

While in Indianapolis this is definitely a place to visit, especially if you are interested in Presidential history. The docents were knowledgeable and the tour took you on three floors of the house. The covered all aspects of Harrison's life, including information about his wife Caroline, who was quite accomplished. The third floor ballroom is set up with Harrison family... More

This was one of the best tours we have ever experienced. The guide was very knowledgeable. The home contains original furniture. Did not know much about President Harrison prior to the tour. He was an extraordinary man and very interesting family. Well worth your time.

I was here with a senior group. We had a guide - split group up in 10 people each. The guide was very knowledgable. It was interesting to see items in the house - some being belongings of the Harrison family including photos & other things of that period of time. Allow about 1 1/2 hours if you have a... More

This IS a lovely home. And that alone makes it worth the stop in downtown Indianapolis. Extremely well maintained, with most of the furnishings having actually belonged to President Harrison and his wife Caroline. It is hoped you will be allowed a tour of the second and third floors. One never knows, but they too, are exquisite, with the third... More

Very much worth the time & money. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Harrison, his life experiences & his family. The home is very well maintained & true to the period in which he lived. Allow 1-2 hours for the tour, depending on how many are in your group. There are stairs you must navigate to enter the house... More

Our church group visited the great Benjamin Harrison Presidential Home on North Delaware Street today, to discover many of the interesting historical facts about this statesman and the 23rd President that hailed from Indiana. Not only did he fight for territorial rights and lands, but he also saw the entry of six additional states into the U. S. during it's... More

A lovely tour of President Harrison's home located just north of the center of Indianapolis. It is challenging to follow the signage - therefore I advise visitors use a GPS. The home is magnificent, and we were delighted to see so much furniture, paintings, and collectibles that were in the home at the time President Harrison lived here. Visitors may... More
