I took 5 of my grandchildren to the Christmas program at this museum. Beautiful Christmas trees decorated thru the building. Santa Claus was there to take them for a ride thru the museum on his golf cart then gave them a candy cane. Music to enjoy. It was awesome to see my grandchildrens imaginations as they dressed in the old... More

Took my nephews here while we were there for a visit. Loved it! Very cool and interesting things. Had a lot to look at and very kid friendly. Would highly recommend this for anyone but especially for anyone who loves history.

They have lots of things for history lovers. This is a good, small town, county museum. Things may not be displayed real fancy but there's lots of it with all kinds of subject matter - animals, sports, local furniture industry, Civil War, farm equipment, etc., etc. Highlight for us was the Civil War flag carried by Indiana soldiers.

You won't believe how much stuff is in this Museum. Its a converted warehouse that has room enough for a log cabin to be built inside. Lovers of old farm equipment will be especially impressed. You should allow at least a couple of hours to go through. Free to the public but they accept donations.

This terrific museum has lots of cool stuff, including a log home that has been rebuilt inside the museum. This is NOT a boring little county museum but has something for everyone and it is AMAZING that it is run entirely by volunteers!

You will be surprised at how much you can discover in this museum. There's a little something for everyone: old farm equipment, a children's play area, and even a small replicated town. Definitely a must see!

We saw this museum advertised in something we picked up at the hotel we stayed at in North Vernon, Idiana. It was billed as being free and sounded interesting. When we arrived, they had just switched over to paid attendance at $5 per person. That didn't bother us as we would probably have donated that much or more had it... More

Such an interesting place to visit! Take time to see all the murals of each little town in The county. And everything else you can fit in! I can't wait to see the stuffed animal exhibit when it opens in October, it even has a polar bear!
