There was a man that came and showed us around he even let us look in the jail. I love looking at places back in history I find it very unique how people lived.

we stayed recently at the iris Garden cottages and were across the street from the Pioneer village,It was a fun place to walk around,I love that they have this historic place in Brown County,when you are there check it out,its worth it!

Enjoyed touring this place and listening to the guide talk about craft work and how difficult life was back then - at least to our modern standards. You kind of have to look for this place as it is not on the main drag.

We visited in January and the Pioneer Village was not open, however, we did walk around the old buildings and look into windows and through doors. Very interesting, we wish we would have visited during the tour months.

We gawked around the old log jail on our trip to Nashville and poked in the museum grounds. The place is hidden behind the main drag and should be seen as it is well preserved and very interesting. The museum is done in period and...More
