we stayed recently at the iris Garden cottages and were across the street from the Pioneer village,It was a fun place to walk around,I love that they have this historic place in Brown County,when you are there check it out,its worth it!
Enjoyed touring this place and listening to the guide talk about craft work and how difficult life was back then - at least to our modern standards. You kind of have to look for this place as it is not on the main drag.
We visited in January and the Pioneer Village was not open, however, we did walk around the old buildings and look into windows and through doors. Very interesting, we wish we would have visited during the tour months.
