Welcome to Schooner Valley Stables! Hop on the back of one of our horses and take a memorable ride through the hills and valleys of Yellowwood State Forest. Whether you are a greenhorn or an experienced rider, we have a horse that will suit your needs. We offer walk, trot, and cantering rides which you won't find at many stables. Bring the whole family! We have no age limit.

They ask if any riders are over 220 pounds. This is in the online reservation system but you can still register for a ride. No one in any group I've been with has been over that weight. I suggest calling or emailing for a... More

As of 4/1/17, our price is $35 per hour but that includes a helmet and saddle bag. Helmet is optional for adults but required for 17 yrs old and under.
