Have driven past this place many times. Parking in the back alley. This is a great museum. Classic cars, two mummies, history of Wayne Works, (made bus bodies) and much more.

I have been to the museum only 3 times and do intend to go more and learn more about this city I've been living in for 12 yrs now. They take donations of items, I have donated a few small family heirlooms as they are starting to collect European items to showcase. The past couple years they have offered a... More

We almost didn't go to this museum as the historical part of town seemed very run down. We are so glad though that we did. This museum is full of rich history and a huge variety of exhibits. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly! We spent a couple of hours here and so glad we didn't miss it.

This museum is a jewel with one surprise after another. Very accessible to see most of the collections in a half day trip. They've items you might expect for an area that was one of the earliest settled in the state; however, an Egyptian mummy, extensive horseshoe collection, three-story dollhouse, and fine arts from around the world; all of these... This wonderful museum, located in an 1865 Quaker meetinghouse, has something for almost every interest: automobiles, artwork, horseshoes, an airplane, armor, furniture, and a mummy. Well worth a visit, not just as introduction to an interesting community, but for all of the good "stuff."

Wayne county Museum is very, very nice. Its excellent for kids, civil war buffs, and has a mummy. The grounds are well maintained and has several attractions outside as well.

Thank you for the kudos on our diverse collection and for being one of the only 2 locations in the State of Indiana that house an Egyptian Mummy. We take pride in the upkeep we maintain with a small staff of 5 and Volunteers; thank you for the mention we do appreciate it. Sincerely, More
