The park has great playground equipment but is a little under kept. There are weeds in the mulch shrubs need trimmed broken slides etc. that are boarded off. There's a pond with OK fishing and a natural spring that lots of people get water from.

Used Pokemon Go as our tour guide. Directed us to a beautiful carving of Ent, which is a big hit with the kids. We drove through the park and learned about the spring, that people still bring bottles to fill up with water. They believe that it helps their health and maybe it does. Pretty park with lots of picnic... More

Visiting ill son in Richmond, Indiana. He is healing from brain injury so walking was a great activity. Kind of cold in December but nice little park. Easy to get to. Not much to do in Richmond.

It looks nice overall. There is a decent, updated playground for the kids, picnic areas with a couple of decent shelter houses. The rose garden has a good display of roses and other flowers. I noticed that there is a frisbee golf course or whatever they call it these days. Not much as far as hiking trails. One bad thing... More

The kind of city park one would envision in a movie. Large playground for kids, many picnic pavilions, and picnic tables throughout.

Wonderful large park. They have a skate park, huge newer playground, play equipment for large and smaller children, a splash pad in the summer, pond, creek, covered areas, grills, picnic tables, and my favorite a natural spring with fresh water, you can drink or bottle for home.

Breath-taking views of the park can be seen from Roosevelt Hill. The park has many mature trees, shelters for picnics or family gatherings or parties and lots of room to roam.

FYI: this park has a clear water spring where one can fill containers and take home. It's one of few in the state, and the water is glorious. Aside from the above, it's a great place for a picnic or a set of tennis. Enjoy!

We've been to the park for many events, I do miss the concerts they did during the summer a couple yrs ago. They were so much fun and anyone could sit and enjoy or play ball off to the side with kids. We do go to walk around the pond and enjoy the new renovations to the bridge. I don't... More

This park has so much to offer. The playground is spectacular, with both a large one for bigger kids, and a smaller one for the wee tots. Tons of slides and other activities to keep the kids happy and occupied. In the summer there is a free splash pad for the kids as well. The park also has areas of... More
