Red Wolf Sanctuary is a wonderful place for misplaced wildlife unable to return to the wild that are well taken care of by caring and devoted staff. Ample space is provided for each species that mimics their natural habitat and allows interaction with appropriate others of their kind. Tours are educational and conducted in a way that provides safety to... More

Paul is great! Took a tour with my husband and another couple with Paul as our tour guide. All of the animals responded to Paul with so much excitement you can tell he is very hands on and takes very good care of them. He is very funny and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about all the animals and... More

I was looking for somewhere to take my grandson. I like to take him on adventures as we call them that are close to home. I found this on trip advisor, I called and set up an appointment. This was a great experience. Guide was very informative and made everyone feel comfortable. Had a great time. We packed a picnic... More

I found Red Wolf Sanctuary on Trip Advisor. I'm so glad we took the chance. I called on Friday afternoon, got an answering machine & left a message. Paul called back that evening & we set up a tour for the next afternoon. This place is a real hidden treasure. I have a 13 yr old, 11 yr old &... More

We took the private tour. Wonderful educational tour for children. It has large enclosures for the animals so that they can live as if they were in the wild. The sanctuary is in the process of growing and building new facilities so I would recommend visiting.

We had the absolute pleasure of stumbling upon this amazing piece of heaven on earth when we read about it on Trip Advisor. After calling ahead and bundling up the our three boys (ages 5, 8 and 10) we headed out on a beautiful drive to Rising Sun, Indiana to meet Paul. He was ready and waiting to take us... More

The owner Paul took us on a private 2 hour tour. Its amazing what he is doing to save the red wolves. The work he has accomplished is amazing. I will return. Keep up the good work. I know this comes from your heart and soul. And your humor is out of this world. We are lucky to have met... More

This review is written by someone who worked at an animal sanctuary for 2 years and also whose family started a small rescue group for domestic cats out of her home. So when I say this place is amazing, just know I have a lot to compare it to. They do tours by appointment and I decided to call after... More

We really enjoyed the tour. The guide was very friendly. Be sure to call ahead for appointment. This was more fun than the zoo. It's well worth the best donation you can afford to give.
