This site is approx 15km north of Hudson Bay and is situated next to Ruby Lake. This is a great place for families to visit on a hot day - swimming area and beach, boat launch, baseball diamond, picnic areas, outhouses and change rooms and a small semi-serviced campground. This hidden gem in the boreal forest is home to moose, blackbear, pine martens, Canada Geese, beaver and many species of small mammals and birds. Spend the night here with a crackling fire and admire the Northern Lights while the loon calls in the distance. Definitely, a place to visit and stay awhile.
