Was on a business trip and had time so stopped by Notre Dame and visited this wonderful basilica. It is beautiful inside and outside and very ornate. If you are in South Bend you must visit.

As I toured this basilica, a very knowledgeable docent was there to answer all of my historical inquiries! And, it just so happened that an organist was practicing! Inspirational and quite magnificent!! Wow!

I am not sure but it is open, you can just walk right in and all around inside. You would need to check online or call them.

Tour.nd.edu will give you all the information you need. And while on campus don't miss the grotto! Is just behind the Basilica.
