One of the more beautiful college campuses in the country. The fall colors on campus make for some nice scenery. Ross-Ade Stadium and Mackey Arena are right next to each other. The campus is within walking distance to many restaurants, hotels and other businesses in West Lafayette.

This is a very nice campus about an hour north of Indianapolis. There's a nice downtown with some cute restaurants. But that's about it. People are very nice and it's easy to get around.

Be prepared to walk, because it's a big, sprawling campus with lots to take in. We got a kick out of walking in the cement footprints that represent the first steps taken on the moon (in the grass by Armstrong Hall). In addition, we had the friendliest cup of coffee, chatting it up with a professor and his students at... More

The staff at Purdue admission's office are knowledgable and helpful people! We appreciate they took the time to accommodate our visit and answer questions. We especially appreciate the Academic counselor in the Sciences college.

I attended a conference at Purdue University over 30 years ago so the visit today brought back some fond memories and the facility is spectacular. Grounds are well maintained with great monuments and old buildings really make Purdue a wonderful place to visit and see

I was recently staying at a hotel that was close to the Purdue Campus so I took the opportunity to do a little driving and walking through the area. The campus layout is perfect for a student that is considering to live on campus, it appears that everything is so close and a student could literally walk to class and... More

We really enjoyed our tour and visit. It's definitely in a very rural area with many cornfields. However, there is a sufficient amount of hotels, restaurants, and stores in Lafayette.

Went on a college tour with my son & was prepared to love Purdue...but I was underwhelmed! The college has beautiful old buildings, but many are in need of serious TLC on the inside (the auditorium with the beautiful mural had large chunks of ceiling pealing off, other building had broken stair rails, fixtures & signs, an auditorium style class... Came to Purdue Campus with my Cousin, while on a visit form Iowa. She took me to the campus to see the Neil Armstrong building. I was very impressed with the whole campus. There was a lot of work going on, to some of the buildings and other places. Yet it was still a well kept campus, clean and alive!... More
