Weather is bad go to the conservatory and read. I’ve been going all my life, the flower shows change. Plant sails are wonderful.
We were the first to be married there amoung thousands of flowers and candles.
It’s my quiet place to smell and dream
The conservatory is a nice little escape from the winter weather. The staff was very friendly, and we were free to wonder around even to the back greenhouses. Doesn’t take long to walk through but we enjoyed it.
No matter what time of year you visit Vander Veer always has a beautiful display of flowers. The 33 acre botanical garden was established in 1885 and was modeled after New York City's Central Park. It includes an indoor Conservatory and greenhouses, Rose Garden, Grand...More

It is a very small pond. Ice skating in the winter if it freezes. You could probably walk around it in 15 minutes and will be able to see the entire pond from any point. Lovely in the fall when the leaves turn and there are ducks. You can usually park by the pond and there are benches.
