Great view of the Mississippi in the Quad Cities area. Well worth checking out. Leads to the casino on the river end. The pedestrian bridge begins downtown and goes to the waterfront.

It was interesting for about 5 minutes. The walkway inside looks very old and somewhat dirty. It's not very high up, maybe 30-40 feet off the ground. Not a whole lot to look at. The riverfront overall looks like it is in the ghetto. Everything looks about 200 years old (which is probably near the age of Davenport itself).

It's cool to walk across once. Nice view but with the boat there its not as grand as it could be. The lights are neat at night.

Beautiful view of Downtown Davenport Iowa and Rock Island Illinois. We were there at sunset, what an amazing time to see the river front, bridges with the sun setting. Could have the glass cleaned a little better.

Built to take gamblers from a car park to a Riverboat Casino. Casino now appears closed, so don't bother

Now that the boat has moved to land-based casino in north Davenport the abandoned boat and barge sit empty on the riverfront. This bridge was built at tremendous cost to the city to help patrons over the railroad tracks to the casino boat. Although most times I saw people coming and going from the casino on the street level and... More

We stayed at the Radisson. The " bridge to no where" as the locals put it was with walking distance. We checked it out in the evening. I wouldn't recommend doing that if you feel uncomfortable being in an area with poor lighting. I felt uneasy. We had to walk past a homeless family to get in the elevator to... More

The Davenport Skybridge is a great event to see at night. The colors on the bridge are cool to see while walking across. A free quick thing to do while downtown checkingo out the sites.

It has an interesting view of the lock and dam and the bridge to the west. However, the old casino is still right there, blocking a good, close view of the river. I could see how locals might not appreciate the "bridge to nowhere", it is an interesting design and novelty for visitors.

It's an odd skywalk to nowhere. It crosses the street and tracks. Not sure of the point of it. It does offer a nice view of the river
