The kids love this place, they show you the animals in the area, turtles, fish, crustaceans everything ya can imagine and it’s hands on they help you and give little educational walk arounds.

Enjoy walking this wetland success story. I have taken many nice pictures here. Take in a program or volunteer. A Davenport gem. Nearby Concord Road is thick with eagles in the winter. Train enthusiasts will love the location. Spring flowers abound, prairie.

Amazing that this site was formerly a Superfund Cleanup site and now has wildlife, a restored prairie, hiking trails, and boardwalks over the marsh. Wish I lived near enough to visit more often.
