There are many seeds and plants not available anywhere else. Garden supplies, crafts, home goods, decor and a beautiful location make this a must stop if you are in the area. You can also walk the grounds to enjoy the walking paths and the property.

If you have time stop at the Seed Savers exchange for a visit. This organization was founded to preserve seeds and to protect seed diversity. There is a nice demonstration garden and gift shop that is well worth the time for a stop.

Such a wonderful place!! Friends and I make at least 1 annual trip in the spring! Always happy with the tomato and pepper plants I buy. I can't resist the native perennial flowers😍 And of course garden seeds! Love the Heirloom varieties. Beautiful visitors center and grounds!

On our way home from the Mayo Clinic we stopped by the Seed Savers Heritage Farm. I found it to be very interesting. The visitor center staff was very friendly and helpful. Everybody should enjoy visiting this place with its gardens and trials to walk on.

Even if you do not garden, this is an interesting place to explore. They offer heritage seeds for sale, but there are many other items for sale as well, such as dried beans, crafts, fresh garlic, etc. There are also miles of hiking trails around the farm and visitor center.

While the people were mostly nice, the kids were bored. The help, although not mean, did make us feel welcome.

Nice place to visit. Gardens, farm animals, and walking trails. And, difficult to find seeds are available in the gift shop. If you have an interest in gardening, it's worth a visit.

We visited this site on a Sunday morning and were fascinated by their gardens. We took a lot pictures of the flowers and vegetables. The staff was accessible, helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed buying seeds for our garden next year. We brought a picnic lunch and ate at their picnic tables that were under a shelter. We did not... More

There is so much to see & do here! FIRST--- stop at the Visitor Center and browse through the building where an extensive number of heritage seeds are available for purchase. Watch the short video for a history of the center. Check out the various associated items available for purchase. SECOND--- check out the gardens where an extensive number of... More
