I went here to watch a game between the Cubs and the New Orleans team. Yeah, NO won, but how sad to have a city like New Orleans and be stuck in the minor leagues?!

Great place to go for a day game or a night game. Easy access to everything in the park and a good variety of food for kids and adults. Highly recommend a night game with fireworks!

We were here on a cold and damp night. Once we got a beer and found our seats, we barely moved. It looked like there were some micro brews on the lower lever concourse and the food smelled good. The price was right as well....More

Love going to Principal Park to watch the Cubs. It's always a great experience to see the players before they called up to Chicago.

It's alwaya a joy going to the ballpark with my daughters. The tickets are inexpensive, the baseball is AAA, and there are always friends in the stands. Food prices are what you'd expect, which is always on the high side at ballparks, but not as...More

I love having a AAA team in Des Moines. It's a great ballpark and you get to see potentially major league players up close for not a huge cost. The park has a nice variety of stadium foods and drinks, is clean and welcoming. Parking...More

Only attended for the beer and snacks and to be with friends, other than that, nothing to brag about. 47 minutes of actual play time, 3 hours of mound talk and butt patting!

How often do the games sell out? I have a buddy coming Saturday April 29 to go see the game but there's a good chance for rain so I don't want to buy tickets in advance in case it gets rained out.

My experience is that except for around July 4th, there are almost always decent tickets available on short notice, the fewer seats you need the better. Yes, rain can be an issue. If it happens to be a sunny day, I'd... More

Hi! I'm flying in to DesMoines and renting a car to go to the CWS in Omaha tomorrow. Can I park at the stadium grounds? If not, I understand there are a few parking lots in town where you can take a shuttle. Do you know the time they run on game days? Thanks! Chris

$7 to park on site but you must get there when gates open, which is 90 minutes prior to game start to ensure you get a spot. Parking fills up fast and the area becomes very congested. There is free street parking in the area... More
