All tickets are valid for two days which is good because there is too much to explore all in one. There are many interactive exhibits, lots of helpful volunteers to talk with, short movies, two museum buildings, a wetlands area, a big dredge boat to...More

This was our third visit since the museum opened. It has always been a great experience. I always seem to find something that I haven't seen before. The grandkids love the interactive displays, especially touching the rays and crayfish. I would highly recommend this museum...More

If you live or are visiting Dubuque with kids this is a must see. Spend as little as 2 hours or up to 6 hours doing all of the activities.

Daughter had taken a field trip to the museum and enjoyed it so much we returned as a family. Touching the sting rays was probably the highlight, but the whole day was terrific.

Disappointed in the Monster Fish display; definitely not worth the extra five dollars per person. This display should have been included in General Admission price. The stingrays are always a hit, and the Museum is always clean and the staff helpful. The William M. Black...More

It's like most aquariums, but it's based primarily on river life rather than ocean life, and most especially the life of creatures found in the Mississippi River. There are 2 buildings and a shipyard, all connected by a small shipyard. We had planned to see...More

Super friendly staff and overall a great museum. The 3-D movies were just ok...the glasses didn't seem to enhance anything. Overall a nice experience!

Unless you pay extra for the movies, feedings and so forth, all you get for the expensive entrance fee is a 45 minute walk down river boat memory lane! It is a large property but not much to see. We were very dissatisfied and so...More

I took my grandson for a day. We spent about 5 hours here. He is 6 and he loved the fish and the turtles. The 4D Theater is awesome! We really enjoyed the presentation of Sea Monsters.

I go not recall exactly but there were multiple prices based on seeing the movie they offer or just reviewing the museum. I think about $15. Enjoy!
