All though this place doesn't have a ton of aquariums; they do have a lot they offer overall. I love that they have so many hands on exhibits. I brought 2 kids (10 & 11) & a teenager (16); who had nothing, but great things to say. We are planning on trying to make it back again over the summer... More

This is a fabulous museum, makes you appreciate the Mississippi. There is much to do for both adults and children. You learn the history of the Mississippi as well as learning about the frontiersmen and women who settled the west.

I enjoyed the numerous history displays of the local area. The saltwater fish added a nice touch to the Mississippi fish and animals. The place was clean and impressive, but he upstairs level was in construction. I can see another trip in store to finish the tour.

My family has purchased yearly family passes until we moved in November 2014. We have twin 7 year old boys and they ABSOLUTELY LOVE going! We could probably take them every week and they would not tire of it! As parents, we love it to! Plus, it's right next to the Riverwalk so we can spend an afternoon at the... More

We really like the hands on stuff to do here. The exhibits change and that helps keep it fresh. We have seen the frogs and turtles, and are looking forward to coming back for the next one.

Cost 60 bucks for a family of five to get a two day pass to both buildings. The aquariums aren't really that extensive if you've ever been to another aquarium but still very pretty. There is a hands on lab that lets you touch certain fish and some really cool octopods. We went during the Sherlock exhibit and it was... More

We truly enjoyed our first visit to the museum and aquarium in Dubuque. Even we adults had fun with all the hands-on interactive exhibits! And the informational short films were well set up, giving us a place to rest and learn. The outdoor walk area between the buildings was educational and interesting as well. Our only disappointment.....the River Otters were... More

I was excited to go with my 15 year old brother and see it for the first time. We both had a blast and went shopping on Main street after.
