I enjoy touring caves and while Crystal Lake Cave isn't the largest or the most famous I have ever been through my visit was truly enjoyable. Our guide was very enthusiastic and informative about the history of the cave and the crystal formations which are...More

Thank you for a great review! I'm so happy you enjoyed your experience!
It was worth the money. About a 45 minute tour try to go with a smaller group. Very tight spaces definitely not something you wanna do if you don't like tight spaces. Not to far of a drive from Galena il.
Will, our guide was lots of fun. He knows tons about this cave. He was interactive and got us all to see the shadows in the stalagmites and stalagtites. I will agree that price is a few dollars more that it should be but not...More

I took my 6-year-old daughter on a cave tour. She really loved it. It is a nice cool break in the summer since it was less than 60 degrees in the cave. Other than a couple of bigger puddles, it was very easy to navigate...More
This is a tunnel cave with lots of different kinds of formations. The guide was personable, well informed, and passed along a lot of history and geological information. Enjoyed by 14 and 70 year olds. Easy to get to.
