I was totally amazed to find this place. Having never before been here let alone heard of it, I was very pleased to see many people enjoy this park. I just struck out twice at two other nearby parks due to flooding so it was a delight to actually get out here and NOT get wet or bit up by... More

Different campgrounds within the county park. they range from tent camping to 50 amp full hook ups. shower houses are clean, plenty of activities to utilize with in the park. the are pretty stern on their rules, but i am sure that helps the park stay nice. it is a place we stat 10-12 times a year.

If it were not for the recommendation of the local RV dealer we would have never stumbled across this hidden gem. What a beautiful park..a local attraction for families it seems as we were the only people with out-of-state plates. We stayed a few nights in the campground there with a motorhome. The campground is our favorite of all time..and... More

The rules are rigid and ridiculous. Staff is rude and inconsiderate. Everyone here could use some customer service training. We reserved a specific shelter a year ago, and were "bumped" to another shelter for no good reason. We rented the cabin, and when we arrived, it is in disarray. Broken window shades, not clean, and there's a terrible odor. I... More

We were just passing through and only stayed for one night. It wasn't far from the interstate, nice quiet area. The front office was quiet and helpful. Parking our RV was easy, back in site. There was lots of grassy area with dog walking access. We were off season, so the grounds were quiet. Large heated restrooms, though I wasn't... More

I have been camping at Scott County Park for several years usually at Pine Grove Campground which used to be a quiet, nice, serene area for camping. Over the years it has become party central at all hours and quiet times are not adhered to. There are some extremely rude campers who come out to party not caring about anyone... More

This has been our goto camping site for years. When we first were married we drove 70 miles the first camping trip to camp in the wilderness camping area. We have since then been there every year at least once a year and often more than once a year. Favorite spot is in Pine grove. Shaded and good walking area... More
