I enquired the day before about the rental service offered for kayaks. The information given was inadequate. I felt I had to ask all the necessary questions rather than the sales person showing some interest towards me as a customer. I wanted to make a booking as I was due to travel with teenagers and coming from far it would make things easier. I was told that bookings could NOT be made for a 1 hour tour ( don't know why) and that it wouldn't be a problem on arriving and hiring one. I mentioned the date I was interested and the number of people. I even made sure that we took CASH with us as they DON'T ACCEPT debit/credit cards. When we got there I was greeted by a member of staff with a miserable face and didn't show much interest. I explained we had been in contact with them the day before and that we were wondering at what time we could head down to the beach to kayak. I was surprised to be told there weren't any kayaks for the day. They were all rented out, as they offer tours of 4 hours. I wasn't very happy at all. She wasn't apologetic. Take a few tips: 1. Answer the phone, you could be losing out on business. 2. Train your staff to give correct/accurate information and to show interest towards the customer and their needs. Meet and greet with a smile rather than a miserable face. Train them to find a possible solution. 3. Update your payment methods My advice is don't book with this company. There are plenty of other kayak companies not only on the Island but other beautiful places in Galicia. In fact we have booked one somewhere else where they know how to treat customers.
