A restored and operational water mill. This historical building is open every Sunday afternoon 1-5pm from March to 26th October (BST).

A tour of the mill lasts around 40 minutes and takes you on a victorian journey, from the arrival of the wheat to the sacking of the flour. On the way you will be able to operate the 200 year old machinery and even start up the ten ton water wheel.

We also have a tea room and beautiful wildlife rich grounds, as well as a fantastic dipping pond.

This place is tucked away but it is an excellent find and run completely by volunteers. The tour is only £3.50 and we were taken round by the lovely and enthusiastic guide Peter. You got to see everything of the watermill and also take part in activities- lots of fun and definitely one for the kids! There is a cafe... More

We have lived in the area for 17 years and have never visited till now! We had a guided tour of the mill with Peter our guide and we saw first hand how the mill worked. It was fascinating and very interesting as we saw close up the whole milling process. It's a must see visit for everyone adults and... More

Stumbled across this treasure on an afternoon out - certainly would recommend. Community run mill with enthusiastic and helpful guides, full of fun and interesting facts. We went on a Sunday, when the milling takes place. Great cafe too full of delicious cakes - we enjoyed our cake by the duck pond in the sunshine. You can even buy the... More

My mum and I visited Bunbury Mill by accident. We had planned to visit Cholmondeley Castle Gardens but found it cost £7 per person just for the gardens. For £3.50 we had a really interesting tour of the mill, Judith spoke passionately about the workings of it, all run by volunteers, it was great and in the loveliest setting. The... More

Although the mill looks small it spread over 3 floors, the renovation is excellent. There is a small entrance charge but we'll worth while as the tour is excellent and all the workings of the mill and its water power is explained. The cafe has lovely cakes, plus sandwiches or ploughman's,, on a good day sitting round the pond watching... More

Bunbury Mill makes for a fascinating visit and is extra memorable through the enthusiasm & simple good manners of all the volunteer staff. They are thoroughly good 'old fashioned' nice people. So pleasant & courteous. The tearoom is an additional feature offering very good homemade cakes. Worth a visit even if the mill wasn't working! All in all a very... More
