This historic garden makes a very interesting visit. The views from the lawn over the loch are stunning. The garden has several different areas and then you can explore the remains of the old priory. There is an honesty box for your entrance fee.

A place of peace, history and beauty. It would have also been good to have been able to be there for the garden fete that we understand they have in summer each year.

A wonderful, quiet place at the end of a winding road, this one one of our highlights on our short trip to Argyll. A private home, Ardchattan Priory House has a lovely, tranquil garden which visitors are welcome to wander around during the summer months....More

This is a peaceful and evocative historic place made even more magical by the picturesque backdrop of Ben Cruachan and Loch Etive. It is perhaps surprising that so little has been done to guide visitors around the site. Historic Scotland could do so much more...More

peaceful garden by lochside with hills behind. Enjoyed the history of the priory and the old graves, the plants and the birds.
