It is beautiful but dangerous with buggies driving constantly on the beaches. Can t bring children there. And the beach. Is littered with tables and chairs eating up most of the space. Also many shouting people trying to attract you to paying parkings.Shops selling Chinese low quality. Food overpriced and. Amateurishly cooked in aluminium with cheap oil and dubious water.

There's nothing to dislike on these beaches, sorry... Warm sea, good food, nice buggy rides :) If something, the beaches don't have a life-safer on duty, so don't take chances on swimming to far into the ocean.

Very beautiful place, clean waters but please don't eat there. Just if you like to eat with flies. They are everywhere. Fortunately we didn't catch any disease but it was even hard to eat that. And the food there is not very cheap.
And if you don't want to rent a buggy or eat in a "restaurant", they won't leave you in peace.
I won't come back.

Everybody in the town jumps to the car to offer a parking spot, an even using a closed park, our stuff was stolen from the car inside of the parking. Is sad, because is obvious that there're a lot of people involved. The parking guys in the streets, the parking owner itself and inclusive the people on the beach locking for clients for the beach restaurants. Furthermore, no police officer is present in Kms because was Sunday!! (Just he main police office IN ALL NATAL was open). The incident happened in Puosada Laiz, I. It's parking lot. In front of many people. Be carefull.

Go to one of the 'kiosko', park just on their backside (free, don't let parking assistants on the road fool you saying there is no parking there), grab a table between the hammocks, order an ice cold beer and some local food - you're in paradise

One of the most amazing natural views in Natal. Climb the sand dunes and get a one of a kind view of the whole beach

Possibly one of the best beaches in the North East of Brazil, long smooth sandy beach with sand dunes at the end, safe for swimming and surfing, there are excellent restaurants where you can taste the best feijoada and bacalhau.

I spent two days inb this paradise. I never came across to a such beautiful beach. The sea is so blue and clear, sugar sand, nice people and good and cheap food. If you go to Natal and do not pay a visit to this place is the same as going to Rome and not see the Vatican.

We've been at Genipabu, a couple and two kids, and we stayed at Villa do Sol, a small hostel with a veri good infrastructure. We'd liked it very much, the staff being very friendly and used to receive people from europe and us,in a cozy and clean environment, with international cuisine and very clean apartments(i've seen the staff cleaning every day even the roof fans of the apartments). It's a very precious place to stay, mixing a river delta with a seashore, where you can, n a lower tide, pratically walking from the river to the beach, and, at the high tide, just float yourself back to the hostel, or take a free ride with a kayak to the mangle jungle. It is unbelieveble close to Natal(circa 25km or 15 miles north), being a fisher's village very near to a big city, a type of hideaway we don't think it was possible anymore, even living in Brazil. Prices are high for brazilian standards, but ridiculous by internatonal standards. Staff are very friendly, used to deal with foreign people. Very worth a stay.

Beautiful beach to go with friends or family. This beach is located on the northern beaches that have around the Natal. So, you have to take a little trip until there (it takes around 1 hour by car). Very beautiful place to take pictures and watch the sunshine at the and of the day. There you can also have good food and exotic drinks.
