It's a little task to get to this spot but the views are sure worth it, especially in the fall. You can beat a castle in the middle of nowhere. I love the park too and while you are there, make sure you plan to visit some of the covered bridges...and Northside Cafe is a must in the town square!

Nice view! I walked the path.....recommend the walk up the trail. You can drive, not sure you can year-round.

scary getting there, very narrow drive and drop off on one side so if heights are not your thing I don't suggest going. The tower is very interesting but sad people have to destroy things with graffiti and trash. Would make a great place for pictures

Drove up here on our little journey between all the bridges of Madison County. I had first thought to skip it, reading all the reviews about the bad road, but there was absolutely no problem driving up there. It's even a one way road most of the time, so absolutely no problem. The tower itself isn't anything spectacular but i... More

I love the Tower. The slow drive up there is so peaceful and the view down the valley is beautiful. We have been up to the tower in the summer. Very Green and cool with lots of shade. This time we were a couple of weeks late for the full color of fall. But got a chance to see the... More

Our granddaughter loved this spot. She felt like a princess. The drive to get to the tower is very long, curvy, and narrow. The tower is small, so you don't need much time here.

We chose to park at the covered bridge parking lot and hike up to the tower, which is about 1 mile each way. Being fall, the foliage was turning and the birds were singing, it was a beautiful, non hurried walk. Once at the tower, the views are fantastic from the top. It is well worth getting to, whether you... More

I visited on a lovely fall day so didn't mind the trek to find this landmark. The GPS directed me to a site that was an access point to the river? It was a lovely area..Some hiking trails. But no tower? The young man I asked for help was amused,,he knows more than one person has had this trouble. He... More

My friend was told to go to Clark Tower to get a great view. The tower is in City Park, and it's best to drive up there, just follow the signs and the winding path. The tower is on a high elevation, but the tower itself is no Eiffel Tower. There are stone steps going up one level, and then... More

Nice tower to view the surrounding area but for older people and people with leg problems it's not a very easy or safe climb up the ladder to the top...road up to the tower is narrow in spots but that is noted before you drive it...all in all a good sightseeing spot
