Overview
More
Three miles east of Worcester surrounded by glorious countryside and deer park lays one of Britain’s best-kept secrets. Spetchley is a garden for all tastes containing one of the biggest private collections of plant varieties outside the major botanical gardens. Spetchley is not a formal paradise of neatly manicured lawns or beds but rather a wondrous display of plants, shrubs and trees woven into a garden of many rooms and vistas. It is certainly an ever changing garden and one undergoing many changes. The Revival Project is in its infancy; a ten year project aimed at reviving Spetchley's wonderful legacy. Please follow us to see how we get on and visit to view this wonderful garden and watch its transformation. The Gardens open from April-October.

The website did warn that the drought had an impact on the gardens. Compared to my own garden it all looked pretty good. Quite a variety of different gardens. Nice lake, great views of the house. The deer park was closed the day we visited....More

Having watched Gardeners World featuring the Peonies at Spetchley, we were anxious to visit. However, it had been filmed a few weeks prior to our visit and most were gone although there were a few left with the most wonderful perfume. We enjoyed the walk...More

We’ve been to Spetchley on several occassions and found this year to be very poor. We appreciate that it’s very warm at the moment with very little rain recently, but the weeds have taken over in places, the veg garden is very poor and many...More

First time visit to Spetchley, despite them being only a few miles away. A lovely walk around the gardens and beyond, and the little church in the grounds is worth a look into as well.
