I have been to Cothay several times. It is one of the most stunning gardens I have ever seen - especially at June/July. The manor is also very beautiful, dating way back to mediaeval days. It's is true there is a bit of a delay...More

We had a group day at Cothay and it was fantastic. We had coffee upon arrival with a warm welcome from the owner and 'head gardener' (same person) We then had a tour of the house - what history, not only about the house but...More

I was part of a group touring gardens and this was the highlight of the week. We were greeted with great charm and welcome by the owner, and spent the most delightful afternoon admiring the superb plantings, design and colours in this wonderful place. It...More

Beautiful rural setting for a Christmas Traditional fair but day completely spoilt by the inappropriate rudeness displayed to stall holders by the organisers when they choose to leave slightly early . A great shame .

The tours have to be booked in advance, I seem to remember,so make sure you have, I did wonder if we were ever going to find this place - thank goodness for satnavs. Lots of very narrow wending country roads to get there, miso allow plenty...More

We live near Cothay and were looking forward to visiting today, having not been able to spare enough time to do justice to both house and garden before. We arrived at 11.15 am and parked in the disabled parking space. We had noticed the comment...More
