My kids attended the summer camps and loved it. Hiking, creek walking, swimming, field trips, and building forts. The counselors were wonderful and Regina does such a great job with the program. Also a fun place to go on a nature walk on the weekends.

There are always lots of fun events going on here and they are almost always free. It's fun for all ages but I would say the events are mainly catered towards ages 1-9

Ernie Miller has nice trails and offers outdoor programs. The day we went, the mosquitos were thick. However, we enjoyed the park very much

What a treat to watch the many types of birds at the feeders. Arrive early in the morning for seating and viewing through the glass windows. Naturalist’s come in to visit! Pictures and Bird Books are available to identify the birds. Coffee is hot!!

Solitude. Trees. Shaded walkways. The sound and feeling of the wind making its way. This 113 acre park, designed for walkers, offers the above and more through scheduled activities throughout the year. Many of the trails that I have seen are paved, the literature claims...More

I really like this park. There are trails, paths as well as streams. The picnic area was nice. They offer several camps for children that are well organized and the kiddos really seem to enjoy and learn about their surroundings.

Ernie Miller Nature Center is a nice respite from busy city life. Enjoy quiet trails and observe animals in the center. It has various programming throughout the year which is great for children!

Ernie Miller has been here in Olathe for decades. It has gone through several renovations during that time, all of which have significantly improved it. In the Nature Center building, they have live animals and have recently opened a new exhibit room with hands-on exhibits....More
