After driving through winding picturesque roads, I arrived at Hall's Harbour and luckily found a parking place in this popular tourist spot. I was in awe of the vast area of rocky beach exposed by the receding waters. The rocks provided hours of interest as...More

We were advised to go to Hall's Harbour by our B&B hostess in Lunenburg. We were not disappointed! We arrived just about at dead low tide and wandered around and took some pictures. Then we headed to Grand Pre for the National Historic Site and...More

Travel her.e close to low tide. If you arrive 2-3 BEFORE low tide, you'll still see the boats on the ground and I'm sure it's a few hours after low tide. So don't panic if it's not exact. We arrived about 2 hours before low...More

We had traveled the coast searching for a wharf experience. Halls Harbour was a wonderful platform to view the changing tides and enjoy the succulent meal. Very well managed experience and presented meal.

In the few times I’ve visited this harbour, I’d say to have the complete visit, you need to time it to come during high tide, and then again at low tide. Just amazing to see! You can climb down the ladder to the bottom at...More

We went here twice on the same day, at high and low tide. Fantastc to see the boats standing on the ground. There is a boardwalk around the harbour and opposite the harbour, on the other side of the road, you can see the water...More
