This museum has a good amount of Civil War artifacts and items from both the Confederate, and the Union. You pay one fee for four attractions: civil war museum, women of civil war museum, American wars through the years, and the Bardstown village. When we...More

While the day was somewhat dreary with light rain, we decided that Bardstown was a great place to visit and celebrate the Nation's birthday. Bardstown represents Kentucky's rich historical heritage. The village was representative of early history and while it was restored to the current...More

I was really pleasantly pleased with how many artifacts they had - and they had tons! All the different uniforms and information about the units, it was very interesting and worth the stop.

We return to this museum every time we travel to Louisville. My two favorite places are the Frazier Museum and this Museum. This was my third visit to this Museum and I will return in the fall.

You can tell this museum was put together by people who really care about detail. Everything was well displayed and the stories were long and very detailed. I found it difficult, though, to stop and read every single write-up. I wished that it was that...More
