We stopped here as part of the Mint Julep tour. We did not do a tour here though. Only a tasting where we got to taste two items: Larceny and Elijah Craig. There is a big gift shop and a smaller area with some historical information. A good, quick stop on the Bourbon trail. I don't know the cost since... More

We loved the Rick house and the tasting. The ambassador and the tour guide were both really great. We highly recommend if you want the opportunity to purchase top shelf bourbon.

So happy we picked this place! We only had time for one distillery on the rural Bourbon trail. We picked Heaven Hill and are very happy we did. We did not plan very well, so we got there with 5 minutes to spare and only 1 tour available. Our tour was only a brief history of Bourbon distilling and a... More

Heaven Hill has gone from the days of a factory tour to that of a Bourbon "museum". Its a great place to learn about the heritage of Bourbon, but there is no real hands on stuff here. The tours are probably the priciest on the Bourbon trail, but you can sample many of Heaven Hills brands.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center. Herb couldn't have been nicer at the check in station and Holly was fabulous during our tasting. We look forward to our next visit!

Lovely little museum, low-key, informative tour with a small group (no more than 12, we had 6). The tasting was very cerebral and informative with samples of rye, wheat and corn based mashbills. The gift shop was cool, my only beef is that they were selling their higher-end bottles, none of their bottom-shelf offerings.

First, I must point out that Kathleen the tour guide was the very best tour guide I have ever experienced. A sweet woman who walked and talked like a 4-Star General! We took the extended tour with an amazing bourbon & whiskey tasting. It was a once-in-a-lifetime treat for my family and my best friend's family. Kathleen stole the show!... More

I toured with my father and brother on New Year's Eve. We did two tours: the standard tour and then the Whiskey Conoisseur Tour. Both were good tours and our guides Kathleen and Joan were great. However, they do not produce bourbon at this site since the fire in 1999 so if you are wanting to see firsthand how bourbon... More

My son and I visited Heaven Hill on 12/31/16. We were underwhelmed with both the tour and the employees. We opted for the 1 PM, $10 one hour tour. The tour consisted of a walk across the road to view 7 stories of barrels and some old tools. Back at the Center, the guide pointed us to some displays which... More

Easy drive from Louisville. Just down the street from the center of Bardstown and near My Old Kentucky Home. Alan was great. Very informative. Enjoyed the premium tasting experience.
