We attended a free musical concert that was a wonderful cultural experience representing the area. Beautiful old buildings, too!

Berea, the town, is intertwined with Berea College and it's somewhat difficult to distinguish one from the other. We were quite fortunate to happen upon some students who were most gracious and gave us a wonderful history of the college and their involvement with the community. The campus is simple beautiful including the many buildings which are incorporated into the... More

Our group had arranged a tour of the college with the tourist office at the old train depot. Interesting that this college does not charge tuition. Just room and board. Highly recommend the log cabin craft center and the weaving building behind it. We felt very welcomed at both places.

We were on the way to Lexington and decided to check out where my husbands Grandparents were from. The college area is very pretty. We arrived around 4pm so everything was closed up. If you are in the area it is worth checking out.

This is a beautiful college town. There are artisans all over the city. If you want a genuine piece of art this is the place. It's also the home of Warren A May a mountain dulcimer maker. I purchased one of his dulcimer a this summer. Very talented area, extremely friendly. I'd love to live here.

What every college in this country should be patterning the curriculum after. Berea College is second only to Harvard in endowments and alumni donations.
