Plan on spending some time milling through the various artists' and artisans' work. A pleasant atmosphere with beautiful art.

Stopped here to take a few moments to rest from interstate driving. We were greeted immediately upon entering. The facilities were top notch, even on a Sunday, and there was a small cafe where on could get a bite to eat. The gift shop held...More

There are a full range of lovely items to choose from. What a great, state-supported arts center. We were here for a long while, perusing ceramics, metal work, jewelry, weaving, food items--you name it! We will definitely return any time we are passing through.

I had recently visited a similar artisan center on the North Carolina side of the Smoky Mountains, and was happy to see that it, too, featured a very wide selection of high quality art and crafts. Something for everyone - clothing, jewelry, folk art, soaps...More

We visited on Saturday afternoon on our way to Gatlinburg; I can't say enough about the high quality hand crafted items on display/for sale; you must stop just to look at the beautiful things the locals have made; most of the items seemed expensive, but...More

A vast selection of extraordinary work by many artists and students make this a must stop. Our only regret is that they don't ship out of the US. On the bright side, that saved us money since we couldn't take much on the plane home.

We stopped here for a break in the trip and were very pleasantly surprised at all the amazing merchandise for sale. Crafted mostly by Berea alumni or Kentucky artisans, the works are of high quality and extremely diverse in nature and themes. We found a...More

We visited here while visiting for a family reunion. Everyone enjoyed the art and food. So many different artists work represented here. Wonderful seeing artists at work explaining there trade and skills. The teenager very intrigued. Thanks

There are no outside exhibits. It's all indoors. Only service animals allowed. We left our dog in the car listening to his favorite music with the a/c on so he would comfortable. Best to leave a note inside the window too.

It's a trap. Admission is free but the temptation to buy the art is hard to resist. The art is unique and fairly priced. Food and drink also fairly priced. Great place to stretch your legs.
