- AmusementparkguyPataskala, Ohio1,438 contributionsGood ImprovementsIt has been about a year since I last visited Beech Bend, and a friend and I chose to spend one day of the Memorial Day weekend here. The park is cleaner this year than in the previous year. Ride operators were very knowledgeable and friendly. Nice improvements and new track on the Kentucky Rumbler roller coaster made for better rides. Overall, we had a good time. The ride manager, Paul, is doing a great job with training and leading the ride operators.Visited May 2023Travelled with friendsWritten May 30, 2023
- lovetravel2896 contributionsOk Theme Park Felt Like a FairIf in the area and have a big discount on tickets, go for it. Do not try to eat here or get any of the employees to smile or help you with anything. Most all employees except one or two, look like they hate their life and dont want to be bothered by customers. The rides are all mostly fair rides. The waterpark side is ok. It could use more floats, a lot more floats, as a matter of fact. A lot of them are either deflated or someone keeps them all day. The regular price of admission is a no for me, but if you get a discount, try the big deals Bowling Green, then it is well worth it.Visited June 2023Written June 15, 2023
- ManningAvengerSellersburg, Indiana1,490 contributionsFun little park like a fairIf you go, get a discount online at bigdealdiscountsonline.com. You'll save a bunch. The entrance was a beautiful tree lined, two single lane roads that would look like it would be at Keeneland. The park was much less crowded than Kings Island or Kentucky Kingdom, but that could have been due to the weather that day. We dodged some scattered showers that day. My family even got drenched on the Kentucky Rumbler. We liked the Sea Dragon, which was originally at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch. The Wild Mouse was fun but a little jerking. The family enjoyed the water park despite having to walk a lot of steps to the top of the waterside. Beech Bend is a lot like a fair as opposed to a large theme park. It's definitely worth a visit, but get a discount before you go.Visited June 2023Travelled with familyWritten June 16, 2023

The star here is the water park. Easily spend a day just doing that. The rides are ok for the kids. We didn't even have time to try the go carts, which looked fun. Wish the food options were better - would have made it easier to stay here for the day.

the water water slides were not all fun. I weigh about 150 pounds and i had to push myself all the way down the slides with the 3 solid colored water slides. I did not thank it was good for me to use my feet all the way all the way way down all the slides. But the striped slides were good and the theme park side was good.

We had a great time and the kids loved it!! We were surprised that there wasn't many people there. Definitely would recommend that you put this place on our to do list for activities with the family. Good for little ones and even up to teenagers. We have 4 year old and 10 year old and two teenage girls and everyone was enjoying our visit.

This place was small but very neat. Lines were not long except on the large water slides and that was not terrible. Free sunscreen which was great. Ice cream machine was not working. Easy in and out when we were there.

Great venue for a large car gathering such as this. Just have to be patient getting in and out. A second entrance/exit would be great but not very practical given the location. Overall, al great place for a car show weekend.

Awesome time!! At first thought it expensive but had a coupon making it a bit cheaper. We are the grandparents and had not been here since we were children ourselves and admission was 10 cents!! Once in the park all rides and water slides are free!! It was just amazing and the grandchildren had a wonderful time!! It was time and money well spent. And we loved doing it all too!! We will look forward to going again when they visit again!!

We took two of our grandchildren ages 6 and 10 and they had a great time. Not a large park so the lines were not long at all and the water park was not too crowded. Nice variety of rides for all ages. Great family outing!

Went on a Saturday. All the concessions out of ice, out of drinks. Rides were okay, Carousel is completely shut down, water log ride is no longer there.. The kids (14 year olds) that were running the rides were the rudes brats ive ever seen. They had no people skills, they definitely didnt need to be working with children.

A few friends and I went to the 2018 Car Craft Nationals at Beech Bend Raceway. Getting in and parking was easy but the crowd was way down this year due to the forecast of possibly rainy weather. We only felt a brief sprinkle a few times.
They had several things to do but not that many participants. Drifting and autocross were entertaining.
Not many people took advantage of the dyno runs but I watched one of those.
The drag cars were what I really came to watch. The fastest car they showed the time for was over 180MPH in a Trans Am at about 7.80 seconds. The fastest car they didn't show the time or ET and I'm not sure why they didn't.
The vendor row was well stocked but the actual number of cars was a disappointment. The previous year it was very busy. Hoping next year is back to what you'd expect at a national event.

Great park for the young and teens and when you add Splash Lagoon the older people get great enjoyment also, especially if you like big slides into the pool!!!

Can families bring in their own packed lunches, drinks, and snacks?
You may bring food and eat it outside of the park. There is the park policy where there is no outside food or drink inside the park. If you do try to come in they will politely ask you to bring your food back to your vehicle. You may leave the park to eat them come back in. They will give you a wrist stamp so you ma re-enter.

You will have to call the park. I'm
not sure of their rates, don't think
their too high.

I wish I could have told ya'll that that place skips on safety. I live not far from there in Bowling Green,KY. A woman broke her back according to the local news as of last month. In 2010 to people were killed in two days in two separate accidents involving golf carts there. Horrible, I hope and pray that the people that were hurt sue that dang place and they go under. Maybe Post Traumatic Stress is happening with everyone involved. "Judge, my client suffers from PTSD and has fear of getting in a car, rides at carnivals and buses because of this accident at Beach Bend Park." Any attorney could say because of this safety issue.

Why did the ride top over? How many were injured?

That incident was a week after we were there. Our problem was a totally different ride. Obviously this place is having some serious safety issues

Tickets are $32 for everyone over 3 years old and taller than 54 inches, and $28 for those over 3 years old and shorter than 54 inches. Seniors (60 and older) are $28, and children under 3 are free.
However, they have specials...for example...when we went, Tuesday was "Buy One, Get One FREE!" so admission for all four of us was only $64. 😊

Is there handicap accessibility in the park and pool area? Is there a hydraulic lift into the pool?

the wave pool has zero-entry, which means you can go right in without stairs; this leads directly into the lazy river. also lots of the sprays and dump-bucket areas also have zero entry. I THINK I remember seeing a lift/assist both in the big pool and the wave pool, but you can call or email BB directly to find out for sure. The non-water/rides area is all paved like sidewalks, so it should be okay for wheelchair/crutches; at least some of the rides should be at least partially accessible; bump cars, gravity-drop, swings, etc. Good luck and God Bless.
