Yes this was in Kentucky as one of the things done on our 38th state of the 50-State Quest. ((done in August of 1997 not 2016)) We did 3 state parks this year each a little different. This part of our trip made for a bunch of good photos to go with other enlargements. We always like the peace &... More

We where staying in Nashville and saw a flyer in our hotel for this. So we drove a hour and had a pretty good time. One thing to note, is the "river" is pretty small its only maybe the length of 2-3 football fields if that. I think it goes further down but there was a dam that we stooped... More

River flowing thru cave, short boat ride added a different flair to usual cave explorations. Nice excursion if in the area, but pales in comparison to nearby Mammoth

When I read about this location having a boat tour inside a cave, I had my doubts. I went there and inquire about it and after paying for me and my fiance for the tour, we kept on wondering how good was it going to be. It was AMAZING !!!! Our tour guide started by introducing herself and giving us... More

The tour guide himself was great and fun. The caves and surrounding area were awesome but only thing is it wasn't that big and boat ride did not last long . That's the only reason I'm not giving it all Stars!

It's not Howe Caverns or Cave Tubing in Belize, I recommend both, but it's a chance to experience an underground adventure. There is a opportunity to get in a boat and travel underground with a tour guide to learn some unique history and cave geology from the river that formed it.

I was so excited to do this and it was fantastic. For me. Unfortunately, my 3 year old was really scared by the low ceiling when you first enter the cave by boat. You have to duck all the way down in the boat and it's a very tight fit. She was crying and asked the entire time when we... More

My co teacher and I brought 6 teenagers from MI to Kentucky to experience the caves and general beauty of the state and we had a great time. This was by far our favorite thing we did. Roma was awesome. Her familiarity with the history and of the surrounding area was fantastic. We will be back!

To think that this cave lies right beneath busy Nashville Road, and has an underground river as well is quite something. The gift shop is WAY above what you might expect, and their obvious care really shows here. My last piece of advice is to explore all of the cave trails to find blue holes and waterfalls and lots of... More
