We really enjoyed watching the assembly of the 2017 Corrvettes. The tour walked you right up to the assembly lines to see the cars coming together. Couldn't see every aspect of the plant (like painting and engines), but saw the assembly of most everything else, including driving them off the line and testing. Get there early, tours fill up and... More

Spectacular tour of the Corvette assemble plant given by an extremely informative young lady. We watched the assembly workers and robotic machines assemble the stunning 2017 corvette on it's 4th day of production! She gave us the history of the corvette, the plant itself and kept a good pace making this tour a favorite. Got to see the corvette assembled... More

We married a trip to the Corvette Museum with the assembly plant visit. You really should do both if you're in the area; they're almost across the street from each other. You should make a 'reservation' by selecting a date/time beforehand, as often there are long lines if you're just a walkin. Easiest is to do that online; you can... More

What a fantastic tour! We had never toured an auto factory before and I think we picked the best! It was fun and informative. The cars are gorgeous of course! Nice to see American made! Only issue now is listening to my husband talk about going back to buy one!!

The corvette is an awesome driving machine. Understandably the factory tour can't be a Disneyland event, but the Corvette sets the expectations for something special. The introductory time-killing movie is just race replays. Our tour guide were average - she had knowledge but didn't help the brand either, not sparking any excitement for the product itself. There was nothing to... More

This was one of the most incredible experiences especially for somebody who is a car lover. I have always wanted to do this tour as a child and finally got my chance. You don't have to be a Corvette lover or somebody that loves cars to enjoy this or appreciate it. Although I happen to be a Corvette owner and... More

The tour process is smooth to schedule. While waiting there are videos worth seeing. The tour itself is well led and described.

You can't go without having children over 10 and close-toed shoes. If planning a visit to the assembly plant, call before going this month. The Corvette museum staff informed me that they are changing machinery to get ready for 2017 models and the assembly plant would be unable to tour for weeks.

I strongly suggest you make reservations ahead of time as the tours sell out. The factory is driving distance from the museum, not located in the same place as the museum as we originally thought so you need time to get from one to the other. Most importantly, you can not bring in a phone, camera, backpack or purse so... More
