I had promised my daughter we would ride horses this summer and when we were in Cave City I surprised her by taking her to Jesse James Riding Stables. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the trail was so muddy I felt bad for the horses. All in all we enjoyed ourselves though.

My son was dying to play mini golf since driving through Pigeon Forge so this was our first opportunity. While the course was not terribly challenging the hole configurations were very fun and unique. We had such a good time we went back on the second night.

Stayed one night at the cabins they are renting out if you can really call them cabins. Cabins are grouped close together so there is a lack of privacy that one would seem to expect considering you are in the middle of nowhere. Sleeping arrangements are AWFUL! Beds should be used as a form of torture, very very uncomfortable! Took... More

I don't normally do trail rides - this wasn't my choice - my horse just came back from a ride and wanted water (they were working on it as it was broke and they wouldn't let my horse get water) - then we were to go on an hour ride in the 93F heat. also they had a lot of... More

The trails could of been better but I can't complain. I had a good time. It was my first time riding a horse and I had no problems at all. the horse followed my lead very well. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. It's right off the interstate and decently priced. I'd recommend this place.

These riding stables are actually located in the Kentucky Action Park, which is also top rated for things to do in Cave City. It is not included in the K.A.P. day pass. We paid $14 per rider (for 30 minute ride) and an additional $2 for adult rider since she was so young. Helmets are available The ride got started... More

The stables are part of the Ky Action Park. I've separately rated the park. The zip lining was great, the park was okay. From the time we bought the tickets to the end of the trip it just wasn't the same experience as the zip lining. There was an older lady that assisted us. She wasn't very friendly and spoke... More

Affordable, nice ride through the woods. It is a walking ride, no cantering or trotting. They only have western saddles and they do provide helmets. Horses appear to be well cared for.
