Our family so enjoyed this museum and learned so much. The exhibit on slavery in KY was very moving. There is something for all ages, we will definitely go back.

This is a great place for all ages. Very interactive and hands on. Always a rotating exhibit going on in the Gallery room as well.

When you buy your ticket here, you are granted admission to three museums. We found, however, that five hours was insufficient time to take in all of this one so we never made it to the other two.

It's not a large museum but does cover a lot about Kentucky's history. There is a research library on the second where you can research your Kentucky ancestors. Down the street is the Old State Capital plus the Old Capital Museum is across the street....More
