It's not a large museum but does cover a lot about Kentucky's history. There is a research library on the second where you can research your Kentucky ancestors. Down the street is the Old State Capital plus the Old Capital Museum is across the street....More

This was suggested to us by the gentlemen in the military museum down the street. $4 admission gets you into 3 sites....this one, the military museum and the old capitol building . Best bargain around. Their displays are very well done and comprehensive. For families...More
