This is my second review of Buffalo Trace. The first was about the regular tour, which was fabulous as well. This time my husband & I went on the Hard Hat Tour. This is a MUST-DO! This one does require advance reservations, but it is...More

I didn't show up expecting to get a free pour of Pappy. Didn't expect to be able to buy a bottle either, hottest whiskey in the world. The tour was walking around the grounds, which are very well kept, and ducking into a couple buildings....More

We stopped here while doing the Bourbon Trail in the Louisville, KY area. We asked how much it was for the tour when we arrived and they said: Since it was not part of the "Bourbon Trail", they do not charge for the tour or...More

We loved our tour at Buffalo Trace. Our tour guide, Lee was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. Having the opportunity for a free, guided tour of one of our favorite distilleries was a unique experience. The property is unbelievable. We...More

We had an awesome time at this distillery with my son, Brody, who attends the University of Kentucky in Lexington. The tour guide gave us a lot of information during the tour, and it didn't take up all of our afternoon. I enjoyed it.

The tour guide was fun and informative. The samplings at the end were great! It was a fun experience and the folks a the distillery seemed to enjoy what they do.

We did the basic tour and it was well worth the visit. We learned the history of the distillery, went through one of the bottling areas and one of the barrel storage areas. It was not a whole encompassing tour of the entire facility. There...More

Located less than one mile from downtown Frankfort, Kentucky, this beautiful distillery makes Kentucky Bourbon and if you show up, they will show you how it is done from grain to bottle. Plus you get to sample their products after the tour. Then you can...More

The only reason this review is getting 2 stars instead of one is because our tour guide (Rick was his name if I remember correctly) was very good. He knew a lot about the distillery, the history, and he kept the tour fairly entertaining. It...More
