We have a small Bed & Breakfast in the area. Whenever we have a chance we go over to the farm and hang out in the Cow Boy room. Boris and Kendra the owners are down to earth people, any of the trail guides will stop and talk with you and if you do a trail ride you might be lucky enough to get Ali and hear one of his many stories.
Our guest’s come back with great stories.

Boris was very accommodating for those of us who didn't necessarily have much experience. Beautiful horses that are obviously well treated

Maplecrescent Farm offers several different length of horseback trail rides (as well as boarding and the leasing of horses). The horses are well kept, the trail guides are constantly concerned about your safety and well-being (as well as the horses) and do everything they can to make the ride enjoyable.

One of the best ways to enjoy the glorious Ganaraska Forest is on horse-back; absolutely the best place to go for this experience is Maple Crescent Farm (MCF)!! I first attended a trail ride with MCF over 3 years ago and was so impressed with the knowledgeable and super friendly owners and staff (and of course the amazing horses!) that it's now the ONLY place I will trail ride at! Trails and horses are geared to different levels of riders. So if you've never been near a horse before there will be gentle trails, gentle horses and encouraging, supportive guides to ensure you have such a great experience that you come back again. If you're a more experienced rider you can talk to Boris (owner) and he'll match you with a horse that you will enjoy. I can't say enough good things about this place!!

My 8 year old granddaughter had a week of riding lessons with Elisa in June She wanted to try riding, but had always been a little nervous of animals. Elisa made her feel very confident and the lessons were wonderful to watch. Each lesson included caring for the horse and tacking up as well as riding. It was amazing to see what a change a week of lessons could make in her confidence and ability. Sitting around for a couple of hours each day I was able to observe what went on at the stables and I was very impressed and would recommend it highly.

I took my sister there for a ride and it was nearing closing time. They made sure that we got to ride, instead of turning us away. They have horses for all skill levels of riding. They do everything possible to make your experience amazing. They love their horses and to make every customer happy. They have even allowed me to just pop up and photograph their horses. How awesome is that. Highly recommend this farm for all your riding pleasures.

Boris has many wonderful horses for all skill levels and the trails are also matching all skill levels! After my first visit I keep coming back! I then decided to part board a horse there because of how well they treat both riders and horses!
